Traflux, a waste container manufacturer in Houthalen-Helchteren, is testing a mobile cobot to perform deburring of plastic lids, a precision task that currently consumes about one-fifth of production time and up to 15% of cost. The trial is part of the COBOTASSIST project, supported by Sirris and POM Limburg, and aims to assess the cobot's performance in a real production environment.
